About Our Ladies Ministry
We chose Proverbs 31 as our title because this proverb teaches us how to live a life which encompasses every aspect of our lives. It is reassuring to understand God does not expect us to live this virtuous life NOW, but that it takes a lifetime to live out this high calling. Since we
are in a military community, we understand that most soldiers are assigned to a Division.
The Bible assigns us to a division too (God’s army) and for us ladies, we are assigned to the Proverbs: 31st Division.
The Proverbs 31st woman is trusted by her husband and does him good, not evil, all of her days. (Even if you are not married you are the Bride of Christ). She does not eat the bread of idleness; instead she works hard to take good care of her family. She clothes herself not with the latest fashions, but with strength and honor. She speaks with wisdom and the law of kindness is on her tongue. She knows that charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised.
Through Bible study, worship, prayer and fellowship we seek to know the Lord intimately. We gather several times a month to give opportunity to grow closer to Him and closer to one another. Please join us at our regular church services and also for our ladies’ events listed below, as we seek to know our Lord and become more like Him on a daily basis.
