Ministry Opportunities
Paraclete: This is our most recent ministry opportunity. We are looking for people to help keep the chapel maintained and clean. Our goal is to have 6 teams of people that will volunteer to come to the chapel together for just a few hours a week. One team will come to the chapel each week, meaning that any individual will serve here just once every 6 weeks. For more information or to sign up, see the display by the windows in the cafe or contact the chapel office for details.
Volunteers for our childcare (including the nursery): We need volunteers during the Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services to rotate serving during the month. See Samantha Burk for details or to volunteer. You can fill out a volunteer form here.
Sunday School Teachers: We will continue to need volunteers for our children's ministry classes. The curriculum (and therefore the commitmant) is for just three months at a time. All necessary materials will be provided. We ask that you prayerfully consider volunteering for this important ministry to our children. Contact Samantha Burk for information. samantha@ccfay.com
Ushers: We are looking for more ushers for our services. Our aim is for each usher to serve only once a month or less. If you are interested, please see J.D. or contact the chapel office

Nursery Attendant: We like to have a good number of people available to work in our nursery on a rotating schedule. Our goal is to only need you to work your turn in the nursery once every few months. This is an easy commitment! For more information, contact Samantha by email or the chapel office at 910-486-5427.
Greeters: For both the Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services, we need volunteers to greet people as they enter the chapel, and also help them find key locations like the nursery and Sunday school rooms. Volunteers work on a rotation schedule, so the time commitment is about once a month. You will need to arrive at the chapel at least 15 minutes prior to the service. Transportation: We need a man or a couple that we will be able to call on when someone has requested transportation to or from one of our services. You would only be called on an "as needed" basis. We will provide you with the phone number of the person making the request, and will need to contact them directly to make the arrangements. You would not be required to provide the transportation to anyone that will make you uncomfortable. See Pastor Mike for more information or to volunteer.
